On the one hand people rightfully don't want to pay for others health care with their tax dollars, and on the other people don't want to go without treatment because they are poor. I think putting that argument aside for the benefit of public health care for children is a great idea. There will still be a lot of people who argue against it, be it because they don't have children, or whatever reason, but it is such a worthy cause that it needs to happen some how.
